Each owner of his own house or summer resident is faced with the problem of garbage disposal. It turns out that not all garbage needs to be thrown away, most of it can be useful on the farm.

Construction garbage

Disposal of construction waste into street containers is prohibited, it is subject to specialized disposal. But it can be used when building a foundation for a shed or gazebo.

Broken bricks, remnants of stone, fragments of slate can be used to lay a barbecue or barbecue area, to line garden paths, a storage area for garbage containers, and to make a fence for beds.

Compost

From grass, weeds, vegetable tops, food waste, tea bags, coffee grounds, old newspapers, cartons of milk, kefir, you can get an excellent, environmentally friendly top dressing for garden crops.

To do this, in the far shaded corner of the garden, a site is allocated for the compost heap, and a fence is made. The bottom of the compost is covered with cut branches, unnecessary wood, interlayered with peat and earth.

Further, all weeds, crushed egg shells, wood chips, paper, tree bark, cattle manure, bird droppings, needles of coniferous trees go to the compost. It is strictly prohibited to add meat or dairy products to the compost, as well as harmful chemicals.

All this is sprinkled with nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizer, poured with water for faster decomposition and compacted. The decomposed organic matter is a storehouse of useful substances, trace elements and vitamins for plants and soil.

Compote can be used in liquid form, dissolved in water in a 1: 1 ratio, or simply by scattering it around the garden instead of manure.

Garbage collection by utilities

Anything that is not useful in the farm can be removed by special services. Utilities and commercial enterprises organize the delivery of containers for waste collection to a specific place, replace the filled containers with empty ones, and take them to landfills. All this is done for a fee after the conclusion of the contract.

The benefits of ash for garden plants

Ashes from burning wood, tree twigs, dry grass are an excellent fertilizer for the soil. Ash improves the fertility of the soil cover, destroys many diseases of garden crops, pests of gardens and vegetable gardens. Potatoes and strawberries are especially fond of ash.

Ash is rich in macro and microelements, it reduces the acidity of the soil, improves its structure. For pest control, ash is used in the form of a solution for spraying plants. It can be used in the compost heap as one of the compost components.

Heating of a country house

Branches when pruning trees, cut down old plantations, dried stalks of corn, sunflowers, hats from beaten seeds, all this can be used to heat a country house in the cool season. Ashes from burning them will go to improve the structure of the soil.

In addition, old forks and spoons can block the path of moles to green spaces. And plastic bottles protect tree trunks well in winter from hares; during frosts, they can be worn on vegetable sprouts as protection against freezing.

Dug into the ground with drilled holes, 5 liter bottles will be good, economical drip irrigation.
